HOCL is generated using a combination of water, salt, and electricity. This highly-effective solution is safe for people, plants and pets. When applied, organisms are killed on contact. The water-based solution has excellent effects against a broad spectrum of fungi, mold, and mildew.
Some growers have claimed it even helps control common pests.
